August 2008 Prayer Letter

Have faith in God. . . whosoever shall say unto this mountain,

Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart,

 but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass;

he shall have whatsoever he saith. MK11:22,23

SIXTY NEW STATIONS

OPEN TO LA BONNE NOUVELLE

August 1, 2008

Dear friend,

Two weeks ago La Bonne Nouvelle, our Haitian Christian television show, met with a mountain of opposition.  When I called TeleNationale, the government television station, the program director informed me that La Bonne Nouvelle was off the air and I needed to make an appointment with the station’s Director.  Yvonne and I began to pray for wisdom and a miracle.  I called my influential friend who initially took me to TNH.  He made an appointment for us to see the Director together last Monday.

In the national television Director’s office, it was explained a high government official and voodooist objected to my Christian program, La Bonne Nouvelle.  My friend told the Director that since the station freely airs the voodoo religion they are obligated to show the other side, Christianity.  The Director immediately called the program director and put La Bonne Nouvelle back on the air.  My friend then told me that he has contact with sixty other stations in Haiti that will play La Bonne Nouvelle, if I just give him the programs. What was meant for evil became an open door to more good than I ever imagined.  The mountain was removed, cast into the sea!

Our friend and professional producer, Luke, came to Haiti again.  Together we filmed the infamous slum Cite Soleil. Cite Soleil, recently a gang stronghold and UN battle ground, received us gladly.  Residents recognized me, gave us safe conduct and asked for a La Bonne Nouvelle evangelistic crusade to be televised in Cite Soleil.  Fear has kept others from ministering to their area they said.  They testified the last crusade sponsored by a Pentecostal preacher, who fasted before ministering, ushered in the UN gang purge! Pray for God’s wisdom and provision for this crusade. We will need sound, light, electric equipment and God’s sanction.

Yvonne and I intercede with holy expectation for the supernatural transformation of Haiti from a demonic wasteland to the garden of His presence. Our needs are simple, but they are monthly.  Your regular support will help us to purchase a DVD duplicator, $700.00, to make the programs necessary for the sixty new stations.  We also need a video capturing deck, approximately $1200.00.  Your gift sent to Haiti For Christ, PO Box 87, Franklin, VA 23851 is tax deductible.  Please write to us today and pray for Haiti.  We are seeing miracles unfold before our eyes.  Hallelujah!

With faith in God,

  1. Do I understand that Haiti needs more helicopters? I know they have 8 from the US Military.

  2. Brian,
    Contact the US Consulate in Port au Prince and speak with them to confirm the need for more helicopters. Also Missionary Aviation Fellowship and Missionary Flights International. These missions will know more about what is happening in the air over Haiti. Thank you for asking and for praying.
